Working in a recording studio can often involve long hours and tiring sessions. It makes sense for both artists and engineers to work in an environment that is focused enough to produce results and comfortable enough to prevent fatigue. We believe the environment at Grapevine is balanced to provide a most creative atmosphere.
Our live room has natural daylight and a versatile acoustic. Featuring exposed brick with adjustable acoustic panels, the sonic character of the room can be easily adjusted.
A large, comfortable conservatory serves as the artists' lounge with a Grapevine that hugs the ceiling and produces grapes every summer. We also have an outdoor pool, large kitchen and plenty of off street parking.
Our Sony DMX-R100 console features incredibly flexible routing, 24 microphone preamps, moving fader automation, 48 channel I/O (via MADI expansion) and 2x AES/EBU cards, giving 16 AES/EBU channels.
The extensive equipment arsenal includes a wide selection of microphones from Neumann, Sennheiser, AKG, Shure, Okatva, a good range of outboard gear and well designed patchbays to connect it all together.
Voiceover, Podcast and Audiobook Production
A well crafted voiceover creates dramatic difference in any media. Whether the production requires a fast, clear delivery for a radio advert, or a soft, delicate narration for a documentary, you need a producer who understands what style is appropriate, and how it is best achieved.
We handle projects carefully and thoroughly discuss your brief until we fully understand what you need. Clear details of the production workflow are always available and can be viewed on our website. In urgent cases we can often deliver finished material within a few hours of your telephone call.

Original Composition & Music Research
For the occasions where library music doesn't quite fit, we provide original music to fully exploit your media's potential. We maintain a roster of superb musicians and arrangers, from which we will build a highly efficient and creative production team. Our workflow is logical, our turnaround times are swift and material is delivered promptly via our website.

Our studio is equipped with a host of tools for editing, tidying and restoring audio. Our editing capabilities include;
- Editing based on client specifications for length/content
- Trim/removal of extraneous noise
- Correction of musical inaccuracies (e.g. timing, pitch)
- Enhancement of specific audio elements
- Spatial field placement/panning
- Application of effects for simulated atmospheres
Projects are kept carefully catalogued and organised. However your audio data arrives with us, it will reach it's destination in a structured, logical manner.
We can accept audio material in a wide variety of formats. In order for us to work efficiently, please get in touch with specific details before you send material to us.
For small CD/DVD runs (< 300 units) we offer an affordable duplication service. Full colour surface printing and a variety of packaging options are available. For larger runs (> 300 units) we use a replication plant with a wider range of printing/packaging options.
We offer an audio data consolidation service which involves preparing audio material for archiving. All data is stored on multiple secure servers and copies of archived data can be supplied on a variety of storage media at any time. Please contact us for full details and pricing.
